Finished, and progress

Man, is it ever great to have the house to myself! Painting and flooring went on for weeks! It was so nice to know I didn't have to move stuff, or make room, or get out of the way, or any of another fifty things to think about when work is being done around the house. I was able to get in my exercise time, then headed for the sewing machine.

I finished these two wristlets:

They are the cutest darn things! Just 4" x 8", with a swivel on the strap so they don't get all twisty when you use them.  They have an expandable bottom

with more space than it first appears.

Perfect for errands, or anytime you don't want to carry that big purse with you. Or when you want to match what you're wearing. :)  I'll be adding them to my Etsy store shortly.

So once I got that out of my system, I went back to my current "backlog" project. I got the "inside" put together before closing up for the night.

I didn't worry about the lighting for getting good color since this is still just a part of the quilt....and I was tired. The first border includes triangles that will complete all the outside blocks.  I should be able to get those added tomorrow. I have to paint 2 closets, though, so.......maybe not.

Ah, well. Such is redecorating!

Thanks for stopping by.
